Fireside
I wrote it in candlelight
felt it by fireside.
Flames that dance
and eyes which ask.
It took up my mind.
Just as oceans that seep
and words which keep
silent.
I felt most of life is simply just time.
And I prayed that one day
you would repay mine.
In ten fold
and tight hold.
Those eyes dance in my mind
and burn to ashes
even liquid forms of
rivers and splashes.
